I visited Norway for the first time while living in the United Kingdom and it felt like I was on a winter (with) sun destination. The Scandinavian Peninsula had the most idyllic winter landscapes I could have ever imagined waiting for me. Snowy mountains painted with hundreds of frozen lakes and the occasional wooden house embedded between hills – and a lovely and surprisingly warm sunshine! I loved the Norwegian gastronomy and their preference for fresh seafood reminded me of home. The nature is just insane and even the urban areas are very carefully taken care of. Just like their neighbours Denmark and Sweden, everything in Norway looks so perfect and untouched that you’d easily think you’re in a movie set. (Year: 2014)
